Here's the stuff parents and players ask the most. If something's not covered, get in touch and we'll add it.
Junior Rebound is for kids aged 14–17. Specifically, they need to be 14 by the time they take the court, and under 18 at 31 December of the current year. This is an insurance requirement — proof of age must be available to make any claim. Registering a child outside this age range means they will not be covered.
Not at all — Junior Rebound is beginner friendly and all levels are welcome. Every club has coaches drawn from our existing VolleyPlus pool whose job is exactly this: teaching skills, building confidence, and helping kids improve week to week. Total beginners turn up alongside more experienced players, and our coaches tailor the session so everyone gets something out of it.
Registration opens via this site. As a parent or guardian, you create an account, add your child's details, pick a club (one of the four nights), agree to the consents, and pay the term fee upfront.
Active wear suitable for beach volleyball and a water bottle. Shoes are not permitted, socks are optional — beach volleyball is played barefoot. We'll provide all balls and equipment.
Each club trains on a different night of the week. Magic on Mondays, Tigers Tuesdays, Wizards Wednesdays, and Thunder Thursdays. You sign up for one club — that becomes your crew, your night, and your colours. Once we kick off Friday-night competition (from Term 3), the four clubs play each other.
90 minutes — 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM each week. Same time every week, same club, same coach.
A 4-week training-only program in June leading into the end of Term 2. It runs at a reduced rate, and is a chance to test the program before committing to the full Term 3 schedule (which adds Friday-night competition). NB: There is only 3-weeks for Mondays June program due to King's Birthday Holiday ($10 discount applies).
Friday-night competition is planned to launch from Term 3, running 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM (45 minute timeslots, teams will rotate times each week). Once it's live, your club takes on the others each Friday afternoon.
All Junior Rebound coaches are drawn from VolleyPlus' existing coach and referee pool — same people who run our adult competitions. They all have current Working with Children Checks (WWCC) and relevant coaching experience.
Yes — life happens. Just let us know in advance via your family portal where possible. Fees are paid for the term as a whole and aren't pro-rated for missed sessions, but in unusual circumstances we'll work something out — get in touch.

Important: to be eligible to claim, the player must be within the program's age range (14–17, see above) and proof of age must be available.
